Rugged flip-up sights provide instant backup when primary sight fails or weather conditions limit its use. Robust cross-bolt with oversized, slotted hex nut locks clamping block tightly to Picatinny accessory rail for zero sight movement. Clean, low profile design won’t snag on other gear when folded down. All models regulate with mil-spec A2 carbine sights or same-height aftermarket sights—perfect for co-witnessing with non-magnifying red dot and holographic optical sights. Precision machined from hardcoat anodized 6061 T6 aluminum and heat-treated 4140 steel for repeatable settings and the strength to handle the rigors of combat. A2 windage knob on rear sights provides precise ½ MOA adjustment. 360 Series Rear - HK-style rotating turret for maximum accuracy out to 300 yards. Knurled turret collar with machine engraved range index marks allow quick aperture changes; two ball detents lock turret in place at each position. Close-range .160" aperture provides a large field of view for close combat; three .070" apertures are trajectory calibrated for the mil-spec M4 at 100, 200, and 300 yard ranges. (Best accuracy with 5.56mm (.223) ammunition that duplicates the military M855 62 grain FMJ load.)

Great looking sight, but... (02/12/2009)

First sight I ordered looked and worked great. Very unique, robust, dependable. Ordered a second which did not rotate to the different peeps as designed. Works on a ball/detent design, and the detent holes seemed to have been too deep to allow the top part of the sight to rotate. I returned the sight for a new one, no issues. The replacement worked a little better, but was still very difficult to rotate. I took apart and widened out the detents slightly on my mill, which solved the problem. Locks up tight now, and snaps into each detent as it's supposed to. I think the sight is worth the hassle, but Brownells should conider QC-ing a few and fixing any manufacturing problems, if they haven't done so already.

Well Constructed (27/03/2011)

This sight mounts nice and secure. It is heavy duty and compact. The sight stays down when not in use and is quickly and easily flips up when needed. It has 4 sighting options on the rotating drum which can be adjusted by turning. I have 2k rounds through my M4 with this sight without any issues.

Excellent low profile tough sight (15/02/2012)

Mine is mounted on a RRA carbine. Unit is completely made of high quality metal and seems indestructible. Sight sits low on the pic rail and when folded down will mount flush with rear of upper. Does not inhibit access to charging handle. Square connection on throughbolt fills the gap in pic opening and unit locks solidly in position. There is no locking button so unit flips up or down quickly with a steel ball bearing in the forward pivot. I can't imagine what it might take to knock this site down when in use. Crosscut pattern on sight barrel is easy to manipulate and sweat or wet is not a problem. 1,2, and 3 yardage numbers are deeply cut into smooth square sections under openings to insure proper distance setting. Love the co-witness with my red/green dot. Windage has carry handle type turn button for easy sighting in.

CMMG Upper/Lower Gas Piston (12/04/2012)

I have the Brownells 360 Series installed on an CMMG Upper/Lower & CMMG Factory Gas Piston AR-15 w/ a VLTOR Flash/Compensator & Timney 3.5 Skeleton Trigger. Sighted, and absolutely flawless in its aim! I highly recommend this sight for any rifle that it is fitted for, being in CQB or in that distance where the perfect shot is needed! Love it! Thanks Brownells!

Buy it as a set! (06/05/2012)

See my review for the front and rear set for specifics on how to make this sight PERFECT with a little work. 5 stars, except it has a tendency to tighten/unscrew when turned. This can be fixed with locktite... it's just that the buyer shouldn't have to do the work, IMHO. Having acknowledged that, this is the sight set I recommend to everyone I build an AR for, and everyone who sees my set wants to purchase it. Get it, just be prepared to "fix" it.

It Works (15/09/2013)

I put this on a M-4 midlength barrel bailout gun, It came tight, So I have been working with it for a couple of weeks, Initially it was very tight, but over the last two weeks of use it has loosened up and smoothed out, It has reached a point where it doesn't seem to be getting any looser, and with a little bit of lube it is working exactly as I want it, Hold zero, no shifts, dead on in Battle Sight, and at 100-200-300 meters, Co witnesses is 1/3, and the guys I hang with like it and some are talking about getting some for themselves.

Nice simple tough and affordable, Tough to beat.

Built a bailout car gun, "My view is that it is for E&E, To get back home, not to take on the plundering hoards."

This sight was well constructed, precision, came tight, I used a small steel punch to exercise the sight, and some light oil, and it work down to smooth rotation and now works extremely well.

It repeats on the mark at all ranges, Have always liked the HK design, Its fast and with the flip up by Browning and their execution of the design have a great back up sight, tough enough to use as a primary.

Excellent Sight (03/01/2014)

This is an excellent sight, very similar to the sight on many HKs like the HK P5. A very similar German design actually goes back to WWII. Sight is foolproof, low profile, not likely to snag on your gear. Excellent for 3 gun, quick target acquisition, tactical application and home defense. Personally I prefer this design to a typical A2 setup if you are not using an optic. this sight does have the ability to make fine adjustments for changes in ammo. One drawback is that the sight occupies much of the field of view if you are using an optic so it does not co-witness well. So you need a lot of trigger time to adapt to limitations if you were trained on an A2 type sight.

Excellent Sight Picture, Low profile BUS (28/04/2014)

The fit is perfect, the machining and finish is exact and clean. It's an accurate and sturdy system that will perform in any conditions and environment. Trust this sight. Also, if you have someone who can paint the roll marks, the "1,2,3" yardage marks are orange on HK assault rifles (I prefer them plain though, It's less distracting in use.)
