This will get even the toughest forend tube nut off. No more damaged nuts or forends. Excellent tool and well worth the money if you do alot of work on 870s.

Handle is Deceivingly Hardy (1/22/2019)

This is great design. Simple. Durable. The handle had me worried at first look, as it's fairly thin, but I've put a lot of torque on this tool (getting nuts off, NOT on), and it's holding up great. This was able to remove a nut that had been thoroughly blue loctite'ed, and the handle--though not ergonomic--didn't deform at all.

Fits the tube great, and holds in place wonderfully. Very effective design.

I am really glad I got this 870 wrench. I have several 870s and recently acquired an OLD Wingmaster. The castle nut probably has not been removed in 30+ years. With the assistance of a little Kroil and this tool, it unscrewed with minimal force. It fit perfect on both the Wingmaster and a 870 thatâs only about 9 years old.

The only âconâ I can think of is that it serves only one purpose: removing 870 castle nuts.

Worked perfectly on a remington 870 express. You have to take the forend and action(and action bars) off to use this. Easy enough just push on the tabs inside the receiver and pull it out. 5/5 stars.
